FAQs

What applications does high quality have?

High quality is used in a multitude of applications, included, but not limited to the following:

  • Coolant Mix: You can reduce the concentration of the mix of coolant to water and extend the run of the coolant. This works best on non-synthetic types of coolant. Waste quantity can be reduced by up to 50%. High quality water eliminates rancidity and separation as well as dermatitis on the operators.
  • Spot Free Rinse: This application is for metal or plastic parts, for clean surfaces for final rinse for wash lines, pre-anodize, pre-paint, and pre-powdercoat.
  • Boiler Condensate Return Makeup: This application will reduce chemical costs for the chemical treatments.
  • Softeners allow cleansing agents to work more efficiently by eliminating the hardness (calcium, magnesium, and manganese) from the raw supply. Surfactants can be reduced by 40% - 60% on average.

Do I have to buy the equipment?

No. We offer equipment and systems for purchase, but we also offer a rental program along with rental options. The best method is discussed and determined by how the financing would best fit the financial condition for the company, with respect to depreciation and expense.

Does reverse osmosis waste a lot of water?

Not any more! Years ago that was true, but with the new membrance technology, the recovery has greatly improved. Units now regularly get 50% - 75% recovery. For example, a 10 gallon feed could result in a 5 to 7½ gallon product. This is constantly improving.

Is de-ionized water expensive?

It has been our experience with all of our customers in many applications, the chemical and waste savings, reduction in bad parts from process, clean spray nozzles, and longer coolant life, result in an extremely high ROI.

What is the difference between de-ionized and distilled Water?

The difference is the method of obtaining the high quality water. The quality of distilled and mixed-bed de-ionized water is the same. De-ionized water is generally less expensive due to energy costs of operating distillers.
