Whole house reverse osmosis water systems, also known as “point of entry systems,” connect to your main water line to provide filtered water to all the faucets in your home. Reverse osmosis systems use a high-pressure pump and a semi-permeable membrane filter to remove dissolved sediment and contaminants from drinking water. The filtered water is then collected in a storage tank and distributed throughout your home.

Reverse osmosis systems use filters with pore sizes as small as 0.0001 microns to effectively remove dissolved particles, organics, and other substances without the use of chemicals. Additional benefits of using reverse osmosis water filters include:

  • Natural filtration process
  • Minimal cleaning and maintenance required
  • Fully automated filtration
  • Improves the taste and odor of water
  • Removes pollutants and impurities

Remove Harmful Contaminants with A Home RO Water Purifier

Contaminants decrease water quality and can potentially cause illnesses. Using a natural reverse osmosis filtration system is a safe and effective way to remove unwanted contaminants and improve the taste, odor, and appearance of your water.

A whole house reverse osmosis water system from Canney’s Water Conditioning removes several contaminants from your drinking water, including chloride, chromium, copper, lead, sodium, and detergents or pesticides. Home RO systems can also reduce the presence of certain chemicals such as:

  • Arsenic
  • Calcium
  • Fluoride
  • Magnesium
  • Nitrate
  • Phosphorous
  • Potassium
  • Radium
  • Sulfate

RO Water Purifier for Residential Use

We install residential reverse osmosis water filters for high-quality, purified drinking water at your fingertips. This purification system uses a natural filtration process to reduce undesirable elements in the water by a factor of 90 to 99%. The water passes through a semi-permeable membrane into a pressurized storage tank, from which the water goes to service.

Reverse osmosis systems require a soft water feed and have 3/8 inch line for a higher flow of water. The filtered water is delivered by tubing to a separate faucet, icemaker, refrigerator dispensing units, and other locations if requested. When the holding tank is full, an automatic shut off valve is used to conserve water.

Home RO systems from Canney’s can be installed under your sink or in the basement and may be purchased or rented. These water filtration systems take up minimal space and typically use less energy than other filtration methods. Installing a residential reverse osmosis water filter is a cost-effective replacement for bottled water and ensures your family will always have clean water for drinking and cooking.
